Assessor Records

The county assessor’s office is responsible for maintaining records related to property values and taxes. Types of property assessed include residential, industrial, commercial, and agricultural. The assessor will often reassess real estate property values every three years, but this varies. In some counties, real property is assessed every two years. The compilation of those values is called an assessors roll, and it represents the total value of all property in the county.
