Pre-Employment Screening

What is a Pre-Employment Screening?

Pre-Employment Screening

A pre-employment screening is a form of background screening that companies run in order to determine if an individual is a suitable candidate for a job. A pre-employment screening checks things such as employment history (to ensure the accuracy of a candidate's resume), any potential violations or transgressions at previous jobs, past workers compensation claims, criminal history, and more. In some cases, a pre-employment screening includes drug testing and social media searches. The employer then uses this information to help make a hiring decision.
